The Pressure Show is a 30-45 minute presentation, and can cover the following points:
- Pressure is equal to a Force applied over an Area, or P = F/A.
- By increasing the area the force is applied to, you decrease the pressure felt across the surface.
- Air Pressure is constantly around us.
- Air behaves as a Fluid.
- High pressure areas in a fluid will flow towards low pressure areas. This can result in objects being pushed or lifted into low pressure areas.
- Vacuums are empty space, including no air.
- Gases can be compressed and pressurized, whereas liquids cannot.
- Gases will expand to fill a container, even as the amount of gas decreases.
- Pressure and Temperature are related for a fixed Volume.
- Pressure and Volume are related for a fixed Temperature.
